Launching of new condo set
March 13, 2015
A new condominium development will be launched at Burgos Street, Bacolod City, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Belle Arte Residential Condominiums, a project of Marosvill Development Corporation, is an eight-story building that aims to bring back the elegant lifestyle of Bacolod City with its art deco inspired architecture and interiors, a press release from the firm said.
“The theme of Belle Arte is directly inspired by the iconic art deco home built by our grandfather in the 1930s, fondly known as “Daku Balay” on Burgos Street,” Ma. Lilia Villanueva, president of Marosvill Development Corp., said.
The Belle Arte Residential Condominiums share the southern tip of the same property as Daku Balay with its entrance on Galo Street.
Villanueva said the development seeks to pick up where their grandfather left off when his dream of filling Bacolod City with modernist homes was halted by a near-fatal stroke at the start of World War II.
Belle Arte is a legacy development, thus, special attention to design details will be featured in the architecture and interior spaces of the building. There will be only 67 residential units for sale from the second to the eight floor, and two commercial units on the ground floor. Parking for residents and the public will be available, the press release said.
Amenities will include old-world concierge services, including trained housekeeping and chefs for residents, 24/7 security system, and a fitness center. A lap pool and club house are in the plans to be added in a future of the development, it added.
The architect of Belle Arte Residential Condominiums is CONCEP, Inc. Manila led by Nathaniel von Einsiedel.
With Belle Arte rising in the heart of old downtown Bacolod, the city, will once again have an Art Deco District, a distinct architectural destination for locals and visitors, the press release said.
